The Parliament has rejected, with votes in favor of PSIB, Bloc and the Joint Group, including former MP of UM, Bartomeu Vicens, the amendment to the totality of the PP to the Government's Budget for 2009, some accounts amounting to 3558 million, 7 percent more than in 2008, and contemplating a debt of 662 million euros.
Also approved for the same votes (29 in favor and 28 against) and the absence of the PP's parliamentary and PSIB, Mabel Cabrer, and Maria Torres, respectively, the global accounts of the budgets of the CAIB and their autonomous entities, which reached the figure of 3,558 million euros.
In this way, approved the budget of 645 million euros of the public entities of the Government: 100, 5 million euros of public corporations of the CAIB, 71.3 million euros of the foundations of the CAIB; 1229 million euros of IB-Salut, 83.1 million euros of public entities dependent on the IB-Salut, 195.6 million euros from foundations run by the IB-Salut, and 15.8 million euros of the Tax Agency.
Spokesman for the PP in economic, Francesc Fiol, criticized that these public accounts, which will be adopted definitively the upcoming Dec. 17, after the discussion of amendments partial, "are not sensitive to the actual needs generated by the economic crisis on families and businesses, while also predicted that the expected income through the income tax and VAT does not reflect reality, which will generate a deficit that will rise to about 4%.
